Not at all. The elastane content in the ribbed fabric makes the dress very stretchy. It is easy to slip on (slip-on) and immediately regains its shape, hugging your body without rough edges from zippers.

Is the slit too high when sitting?

The slit is designed to be a "statement" element. It opens beautifully when walking, but thanks to the length and weight of the fabric, it offers enough coverage and comfort when sitting.
